Everyone’s favourite washed-up single Bachelor turned Tim Tam genie/party DJ, Apollo Jackson has just dropped his debut single and music video. Well, isn’t this weekend is off to a cracking start!

Yep – you read correctly, the magic man is now a music producer and has started touring the country (see below). Today he’s officially just dropped his first track called ‘With You’ online and it’s already jetting up the charts. The song has had some radio airplay the past few days and as of today, you can now stream it on iTunes and Spotify!

It also comes with a music video which appears to have been a great excuse for the great man to drive around in some swanky sports cars and party on a giant boat. How very ‘Bachelor’ of you, Apollo. Well played.

According to a Facebook post announcing the banger, it’s inspired by some hard times Apollo faced in his life – and sadly doesn’t appear to have anything to do with Sophie Monk (shame). In the post he said,

I wrote ‘With You’ when I came out of a really dark time in my life, and this song is about seeing things in a different way.

The track is jam-packed with super cheesy lines like:

“I put my hand on my heart and I give you my soul / I know these feelings are out of control”

“You take me to a paradise / I just can’t fall away from you”

“Take my hand / I’ll show you the world /travel every endless road / doesn’t matter where we’re going / cuz I’ll go anywhere with you”

With all that being said, the song grows on you and that upbeat melody is catchy AF. Hats off, Apollo.
