Cracked It: Every Celeb We Reckon Is Heading Into The ‘I’m A Celebrity’ Jungle Next Week
The big moment is almost here, the day when we finally find out which celebs will be touching down in the South African jungle for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.
In the meantime, every media outlet (us included) has been trying to get their hot little hands on any info to solve the clues on who these (washed up) celebs might be. However Channel Ten, for the most part, have done a stellar job at keeping it under wraps.
But they’ve given us plenty of tip-offs and we reckon these celebs are as good as confirmed ahead of Sunday night’s premiere.
Here are the celebs rumoured to appear based on the clues we’ve been given:
Bernard Tomic
We know a ‘tennis star’ is making an appearance and very early on, Aussie tennis legend Bernard Tomic was rumoured to have signed onto the show.
Since missing out on the Australian Open wildcard slot, there’s really nothing stopping him. According to the Herald Sun, Tomic has even been bragging to fellow players that he had been offered $1 million to appear. Game, set and match!
Ricki-Lee Coulter
After we were given the clue: “This pop sensation is only known by their first name,” there’s really only a handful of options. If it’s not Kylie, Delta or… Paulini then it’s probs Ricki-Lee Coulter. Plus Sydney Confidential reported a few months ago on rumours that she was copping a guernsey, so we reckon it checks out.
Fran Drescher
From late last year we were told that an American sitcom star will debut on the show – and Fran Drescher’s name seemed to come up early. This can’t be a coincidence. TBH – who has actually thought about The Nanny in the past decade?
The clues they’ve given us also check out, with the show spruiking a “loudmouth TV star/this is a beauty sure to love.” Her character Fran Fine was no shrinking violent AND was known for taken her beauty lewks to the next level.
Danny Green & Anthony Mundine
We were promised two celebs that are feuding to be thrown into the jungle together and all reports suggest that this will be boxing rivals Danny Green and Anthony Mundine. Hope they’re bringing their boxing gloves.
Glenn Robbins
One clue promises that an iconic Aussie comedian who “married into one of Australia’s most famous families” will star. Fans immediately decided it was Kath & Kim’s resident butcher Glenn Robbins. The actor is also about to relaunch ‘Russell Coight’s All Aussie Adventures’ later this year on Ten, so could use some practice living outdoors and the promo.
Jason Akermanis
We know an AFL champion with at least one premiership under his/her belt is joining the series.
However one clue promotes that the “player is known for their hair raising play”. This sounds a lot like bleach blondie Jason Akermanis. Aker was known for his handstands after each goal – so lock it in. Then again, there’s probs at least another 10 footballers that also fit the description, so who TF knows.
Fiona O’Loughlin
This one is a little more obvious since fellow funny person Lawrence Mooney went and leaked that Fiona will star in the series. But even before this news was dropped, O’Loughlin’s name was already being mentioned.
