Delta Goodrem Reveals Cate Blanchett As Her Fashion Inspiration

Delta Goodrem has said that she looks up to fellow Aussie, Cate Blanchett for style inspiration because she admires the way the actress can pull outfits together.

Goodrem AKA Nina Tucker from Neighbours, has admitted she turns to 46-year-old Blanchett when she needs some help with pulling an outfit together as she loves the way the blonde beauty styles her looks.

Speaking to the Daily Mail Australia, she said: “My absolute fashion icon is Cate Blanchett. I love how she always does something different on the red carpet and mixes it up. You never know what to expect with her, but she always pulls it off. I love that so much.”

However, when she’s not getting dolled up for a red carpet or event bash, Delta, 31, prefers the more laid-back look.

Delving further into her fashion taste, she said: “I’m a total bohemian at heart. My go-to look is probably a simple white tee, black jeans, a good leather jacket and sneakers. I like to keep my style natural but always have a hippy edge – whether that’s in the jewellery or my hair. It’s important to me to make a look my own. It took a long time to know what suits me and my body shape. But I think the biggest lesson I’ve learned is that as long as you own who you are and are comfortable in that moment when you wore a certain outfit, which is really hard to do, then that’s the most important thing.”
