Nothing says welcome to ‘Straya like a fuck off huge Great White Shark circling your boat.

This drone footage captured a mega Great White swimming just a little way from Fourth Beach at Twilight Bay in Western Australia and it doesn’t exactly make you wanna jump into the water anytime soon.

WA filmmaker Dave Riggs caught the big guy on camera using a drone on Saturday and it looks like something right out of Jaws. To get your head around the perspective, that patrol boat is about 8.5 metres long and Riggs estimated the shark was more than 5m long sooooo bye.

Big Fish – Fourth Beach Esperance today … by the way, thats an 8.5 metre Patrol boat

There’s been a fair amount of stress about shark sightings in WA being on the rise, especially when they’re coming in so close to more popular beaches like West Beach. Since a young surfer was fatally attacked back in April, the WA Esperance community is calling for more effective action from the government to prevent another attack from occurring over the summer tourist season.

While culling the population is a cruel and inefficient way to deal with the problem, we’re definitely on board with more safety measures to keep us the hell away from massive sharks like this guy.
