The First ‘Love Island Australia’ Promo Feels Like Sophie Monk Is Intro-ing A Porno

Love Island Australia has dropped its first promo and it is so sexually charged I didn’t realise you could show this kinda thing on Channel 9, but here we are.

Our beloved bachelorette and now Love Island host Sophie Monk is working a pilot outfit (that seems a little skimpier than what you might find your run-of-the-mill pilot wearing) and calling all “beautiful sexy singles” on board for a six week trip to the one, the only ~Love Island~.

And these singles really are beautiful and sexy — enough to distract us from the fact that Sophie Monk is piloting a private jet full of people all the way to Majorca, in heels.

“Your love flight to Spain is about to take off.” Sophie announces to her ridiculously hot (and horny??) passengers. “So buckle up… and couple up. ‘Cause we’re heading to the hottest summer of your lives.”

Cue everyone literally undressing on the flight down to their teeny tiny island-appropriate outfits. It’s pretty much all abs, boobs and butt for the rest of the trailer. It’s extra as all hell and kinda really feels like the opening scenes of a large-scale porno, but that’s just good TV right?

#LoveIslandAU, coming soon

All aboard! We're heading to the hottest summer of your life.#LoveIslandAU, coming soon to 9Go! & 9Now ✈️☀️

In decoding this trailer I’ve come to the conclusion that every time Sophie says “love” or “love story”, she means sex. She means, “my contestants are going to fuck, so tune the fuck in.” And you know what, we will.

The bad news is that all the mega-hotties in the promo aren’t the actual contestants (boooooo), but according to Channel 9 it’s pretty much the level of hotness we can expect from their cherry-picked cast, so be prepared for a lot of hot people hooking up with other hot people.

Love Island Australia is set to start filming in the next few months over on the titular island in Spain, and will start airing on Channel 9 in mid May so brace yourselves.
