The Herald Sun discovered the new take on the humble HSP, aka the ‘Halal Snack Pack’ which have become insanely popular over the past year or so. Enzo’s Pizzeria in an outer suburb of Melbourne are serving up chippies covered in bolognese sauce and melted cheese. Oh yes. Italian HSPs. It sounds like gooey perfection.

The owner told the newspaper that since the item had been added to the menu, people are obsessed with the new food mash-up.

“They’re hooked — we get a lot of repeat customers,” owner Enzo Cucinotta said.

“What’s not to love about chips, bolognaise and mozzarella?”

Truer words have never been spoken.
