Little Mix’s Kuala Lumpur concert took a bizarre turn last night when Jesy Nelson tore a ligament on-stage during the show.

Prior to performing ‘Secret Love Song Pt. II‘, Perrie Edwards paused to tell the crowd that Jesy had been injured and would not be coming back on stage however the show would go on without her.

This prompted the audience to sing along loudly to all of Jesy’s parts in the foursome’s setlist and the Kuala Lumpur crowd quickly became one of the girl group’s loudest audiences of the tour so far.

After the concert Jesy Nelson took to her Instagram page and told her 1.7 million followers that “it’s always me,” and that she had “torn the ligaments,” in her ankle, but would try to rest so she could be at the girls’ Singapore concert.

Little Mix’s Singapore concert is on Monday night and although Nelson told her fans, she would be there she also added “maybe no dancing for me,” as it is unlikely that her ankle will be fully healed in time for their next performance.

This is not the first time that 24 year-old Nelson has been forced to miss a concert with Little Mix previously cancelling and then rescheduling two of their Belfast shows during the UK leg of their Get Weird Tour in March due to a mystery illness.

Fans of Little Mix are using the hashtag #GetWellSoonJesy to send their well wishes and show support for Nelson on Twitter.
