Ed Sheeran wants everyone to know that he doesn’t give a damn if you didn’t enjoy his Game of Thrones cameo. Fair play, Ed.

After days of the angry internet folk screaming up into a metaphorical cloud over Sheeran’s random appearance in GoT, the British singer has had the final word. Posting his thoughts to his Instagram page, he clapped back to the haters.

“I am in game of thrones, why the hell would I worry what people thought about that. It’s clearly fuckin’ awesome,” Sheeran wrote.

He posted his response with this cute pic of him and his manager:

The ‘A-Team’ singer went on to clarify that he did not delete his Twitter account because of the hate-campaign against him post-GoT.

“Last i’ll say on this. I came off Twitter Coz I was always intending to come off Twitter, had nothing to do with what people said about my game of thrones cameo,” he said.

“Timing was just a coincidence, but believe what you want.”

While Sheeran had said that he was quitting Twitter last week, I reckon it’s pretty darn coincidental he deleted his account straight after the outpouring of internet-hate for his cameo. Oh well, I guess I’m just thinking out loud. (Not sorry)
