The tragic reality is now setting in. We knew it would come to this. ‘Married at First Sight’ has finally wrapped up for the year, but what a bloody sensational season.
It was addictive telly and the finale scored Channel 9 record-breaking ratings for the year, smashing all prior seasons out of the park. While as far as curating long-lasting relationships, the show only brought two couples together, but by showcasing bold and unforgettable characters – the likes of the lovable and loathable Cheryl, Andrew and Anthony – the series became event television.

An evil twin attempted to derail Cheryl and Jonathan’s wedding
We knew from the get-go that this season was something special. During one of the first weddings, a blondie shows up and immediately starts throwing shade at the bride. Turns out, it was the twin of a jilted ex of the groom. Of course.
