Instagram has just upped ya online game, adding the ability to post music with your insta-stories. You and your mates’ newsfeeds are about to get LIT.

The social media platform has just unveiled the new feature which allows its users to add a soundtrack to a photo or video in their stories.

It’s all integrated into the normal story options, but you’ll find a new ‘Music’ sticker which will give you a plethora of tunes to choose depending on ya vibe.

On iOS, you can select a song before taking a pic or filming a video by swiping to the ‘Music’ format in your camera.

You can search for a specific song, or browse by mood and genre. Then once you pick a track, you can fast-forward and rewind through to choose the exact part you want in your story. Nifty, huh!

When friends see your story, the song will play automatically. Just think of how good your meme game is about to get?!?

The new feature is expected to roll out today in Australia, and will available across the globe in the near future.
