The ‘Pacific Rim Uprising’ Trailer Feat. John Boyega Looks Better Than The First Movie

Computers these days can do some pretty whizz-bang things and sometimes Hollywood just needs an excuse to show-off all the cool shit they can do.

The trailer for the new Pacific Rim is just that. It’s two and half minutes of all-out CGI mayhem that reeks of a few Hollywood computer geeks showing off. But tbh is looks better than the movies that have come before it and we’re here for it.

The new trailer is jam-packed with explosions, laser weapons, crumbling buildings, screaming citizens, collapsing infrastructure and explosions – all to the backing of a cliche suspenseful soundtrack.  Delicious.

The new movie sees Star Wars star John Boyega step into Idris Elba’s footsteps, playing his son as he continues to save the world from a monster apocalypse.

The plot will no doubt include some inspirational speeches, 1 hour of explosive fight scenes and then Boyega leading his team to save the world, just like his daddy-o. Cute.
