On The Project overnight, The Bachelorette’s Georgia Love and Lee Elliott joined the panel to discuss their relationship and the tragic passing of Georgia’s mum during the finale.

The pair look gorgeous together *sigh* and Georgia said she couldn’t have handled the death of her mum from pancreatic cancer, without the support of Lee.

“It’s been incredibly difficult but would have just been made so much more difficult if Lee hadn’t have been there,” she said.

Georgia admitted that despite the time spent on the show during her mum’s cancer battle, she doesn’t regret going on The Bachelorette.

“You can look back at any point of your life and say “Well, I was away for 2 months travelling there, or a year working there”. But if I hadn’t have gone on The Bachelorette I wouldn’t have had Lee to support me through this, but I also would have still been in Tassie.

I would have actually been further away from my mum. So, you know, I don’t regret anything that happened,” Georgia said.

This should quiet the haters. The couple look absolutely in love and adorable, so it seems things have worked out for the best in the end. (We still don’t forgive Channel Ten for Nikki. #NeverForget)

As part of the appearance, the couple appealed to viewers to donate to pancreatic cancer foundation Pancare, and to bid on the chance to go on a date with ALL the Bachelorette boys.

This would include Matty J and Cameron, so ladies: HERE’S OUR CHANCE.
