WATCH: Kit Harington & Emilia Clarke React To That Bonk Scene In GoT Finale
It was the sex scene we’ve been waiting an entire season for, ever since Jon Snow first laid eyes on the Mother of Dragons. Despite the big reveal that the two were 100 percent related as auntie and nephew, viewers still frothed over Daenerys and Jon finally hooking up.
Now the actors themselves have weighed in on the relatives gettin’ their bonk on. In a new behind the scenes commentary feature from HBO, series stars including Emilia Clarke and Kit Harrington react to THAT scene.
“For us, as actors, it’s just weird.
The reality of what they are to each other, I don’t know how that’s going to … I think [gags] might be the reaction,” Clarke said.
Harrington then joked that he would look at Clarke on set and dry-heave.
He went on to say:
“I think it’s an inevitability from about halfway through the season that Jon and Daenerys will fall into bed together. You can’t stop it from happening.”
“I think they both know it’s wrong. I think they both know it’s going to cause problems. But it’s that thing, when you suddenly feel that deeply about someone and you go through those events together, it’s like a runaway train. You can’t stop it from happening.”
Despite the scene showing incest in action, many fans have noted that the ick-factor wasn’t there to the same extent season one viewers felt seeing the Lannisters get it on with each other.
