There are some things that everyone in the world can agree are great – like sunsets, going to the beach on a hot day and embracing Hugh Jackman as the brilliant actor and all round good bloke that he is.
Today, the Logan star dropped the first trailer for his ‘La La Land’ inspired musical about an 18th century showman who is trying to make it in the circus industry. ‘The Greatest Showman’ is all about celebrating the birth of show business and is also inspired by the ambition and imagination of P.T. Barnum,
We know the bloke has a decent voice, having belted out ballads in a bunch of musicals from ‘Les Misérables’ to his Peter Allen tribute, ‘The Boy from Oz’. While this film was originally going to be a straight off the bat movie, Jackman has helped twist it into a musical so that he can turn up the dial on his voicebox once again. Thank you.
