Wanna catch a bunch of good doggos on the big screen?

Now you can, because Wes Anderson, the tweed king of sublime films like The Royal Tenenbaums and The Grand Budapest Hotel is back with a new animated feature, Isle of Dogs.

Set in Japan 20 years in the future, the stop-motion animation film is about a group of dogs who have been exiled to an island of trash after a rash of “dog flu”. Adventure ensues when a 12-year-old boy Atari Kobayashi manages to get to the island in search of his lost dog Spot.

This sounds like it’s going to give us all the feels, and we can guarantee it will be gorgeous and beautiful like everything Wes Anderson does.

The film features an all-star cast, with everyone from Scarlett Johansson to Bill Murray, Brian Cranston, Tilda Swinton, Jeff Goldblum, Greta Gerwig, Yoko Ono and more voicing characters.

If this sounds exactly like your cup of tea, you can enter here to win double passes to advance screenings around Australia.

Isle Of Dogs hits cinemas on April 12.
