AWW: There Was An Adorbs Proposal On ‘Shark Tank’ & We’re Not Crying, You Are
Tonight’s ep of Shark Tank was especially gripping for a whole different reason.
As Aussie entrepreneurs Luke and Chrissy presented their allergy-friendly food business Foddies to the panel, Luke unexpectedly went down on one knee to propose.
The couple, who have been dating for three years, didn’t do so well with their idea and copped a ‘no’ from most of judges. But after persistence and ‘not taking no as an answer’, they lucked in with Boost Juice kween Janine Allis chipping in a cool $100K for 40 percent of the business. To celebrate, Luke asked his business partner for her hand in marriage.
Here’s the big moment GIF-ifyed:
As Luke pulled out the ring, he said to Chrissy before asking the big question:
“I can’t even imagine a life without you, and frankly I don’t want to.”
Awwwww.
But wait, a proposal didn’t happen unless some daggy dad tries to take a pic of it with his bloody iPad. Probz recently gifted for chrissy. Enter: Dr Glen Richard, you big dork.
‘How do I take a photo on this thing..? Carol?? Carol???’
It was super cute and all the judges looked shook as hell.
Host Sarah Harris was also stoked with the prospect of extra viewers Shark Tank might be able to milk from this stunt.
Meanwhile, viewers were feeling all warm/fuzzy and took to Twitter with heart-eyes:
