New Research Says Second Children Are The Worst And Science Has Spoken

The facts are in and now there’s cold hard proof to back up your already pretty decked out argument that children born second are just the worst. Can’t argue with science. 

Soz second-borns but science has spoken and apparently, you’re the worst. No hard feelings! The proof is coming in hot from a recently published US report that studied thousands of fams from Denmark and Florida.

Basically, second born children are considerably more inclined towards bad behaviour and more likely to end up in a worse position later in life. So, I guess what’s being said is first-borns are destined for greatness and second-borns are just not. Damn, the truth hurts hey.

The report also said boys are worse still and that’s a whole other topic to tackle but let’s just pretend we are surprised about that for a second alright.

The second-borns are also 20 to 40 percent more likely to act up and need discipline while also having a higher chance of crossing paths with the criminal justice system. Jeez guys what a bloody handful get it together plz.

According to one of the report’s author’s though, it’s not totally their fault for being statistically worse. Joseph Doyle explained to NPR  that:

“The firstborn has role models, who are adults. And the second, later-born children have role models who are slightly irrational two-year-olds, you know, their older siblings.”

Fair point, but yea lol at second-borns are shit hey #science.
