Tinder Is Rolling Out A New ‘Tinder Gold’ Feature That Will Up Your Hookup Game

Tinder has just launched ‘Tinder Gold’ a paid service to make it easier to navigate the minefield that is meeting the love of your life – or more likely – scoring a quick online hookup.

The new premium level will give users access to a ‘Like You‘ feature which will show who has given you thumbs up before you get the chance to swipe right or left on them. It basically puts the ‘gold’ users on the front foot to make or break hearts. Score!

Brian Norgard, Tinder’s Chief Product Officer, said that ‘Tinder Gold’ will up user’s dating game by making the swipe process more efficient.

“They’re using the app to meet new people, and Likes You makes that easier and more efficient than ever by letting users know when someone is interested,” Norgard said.

“Likes You builds on previous features like Boost to help users optimize their time – and go from matching in app to getting together in the real world.”

The company wrote in a blog post, that through ‘”Tinder Gold’ members can “auto-match, dismiss, or click into each person’s profile”. This will make it easier and quicker to know who is keen on you, so you can yes/no them accordingly. But like Tinder’s other premium features like ‘Tinder Plus’, it’ll cost you.

Tinder haven’t confirmed yet what the price will be, but luckily Australia will be the first to experience the new Tinder frontier. The dating app will begin testing the new service here and in Argentina, Canada and Mexico in the next few days, before launching worldwide. Get yo swiping finger ready!
