Ed Sheeran Takes A Break, Quits Social Media

Fresh from wrapping up his Multiply World Tour, Ed Sheeran has announced that he’s quitting social media indefinitely.

In a post online, the British crooner has told his followers that he needs a break from the interwebs because he’s sick of living his life through a screen.

The 24-year-old also stated that he won’t be replying to phone calls or emails as he takes this opportunity to travel the world and see the things that he has missed along the way.

It seems the decision was made a while ago, tweeting before his last show in Auckland that he’d be “buggering off for a while” after the tour ended.

It’s not yet known when the Ginger Ninja will re-connect with the world, but if his third album is as good as he says, he’ll be back online to promote it in no time.
