Ella From ‘MAFS’ Has Been Cast On One The Biggest (And Best) Reality Shows In The UK
Married at First Sight’s Ella Ding is moving on up, literally. She’s currently up in the United Kingdom and she’s just been cast in one of country’s longest running reality shows.
Ella is going to join Made in Chelsea, a series following the lives of the young, beautiful and rich living it up in West London.
For the unfamiliar, Made in Chelsea is a massive reality series in the UK that has run for 23 seasons. Along with The Only Way is Essex (aka TOWIE), Made in Chelsea was a trailblazing series and one of the first of its kind for what we now considered scripted reality TV.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Made in Chelsea, which I know is a much-loved show here in the UK,” Ella told Daily Mail UK. “Whilst I can’t tell you why I’m here, I can assure you I won’t be marrying a stranger this time!”

The station that airs Made in Chelsea, Channel 4, have teased what fans might expect from Ella’s appearance. “Whilst Ella’s purpose in Chelsea is being kept under wraps, it’s safe to say that she’ll be bringing along the usual cocktail of drama, flirtation, and gossip to the group,” a spokesperson said.
“Why is she here? Has she set her sights on someone? Does she have a secret conflict? Or is she just here to turn Chelsea on its head? Only time will tell.”
A new season of Made in Chelsea based in Mallorca is about to kick off, so we can expect Ella will feature in the following series which will likely air in 2023. Ella said in an Instagram Story, “I will be appearing on the next season of Made in Chelsea. Very unexpected turn of events, I guess. Pretty crazy experience and story, I guess?”
When I heard this news, I felt like it was orchestrated specifically for me as it’s the perfect intersection of my interests. Of course, I’m a huge MAFS fan, and Ella was arguably the breakout star of the 2022 season, radiating bestie energy while having to endure some real BS from her groom, Mitch Eynaud.
And I would hazard a guess that I’m the biggest Made in Chelsea fan in Australia. While I do enjoy TOWIE, Made in Chelsea has a special place in my heart for allowing me to fulfil a lifelong fantasy: to live vicariously through the lives of London’s high society.
It’s the show that brought us Mark-Francis Vandelli…
So, so, so many slaps…
It’s the series that showed us what happens when everyone was “getting up” in Lucy Watson’s grill…
And whatever this means…
The perfect show DOES exist and I reckon Ella will fit in perfectly.
