What. An. Episode.
Episode four of Game of Thrones was spectacular viewing and a bloody cinematic masterpiece.
There’s so much to digest but first:
There’s obvious spoilers coming your way, so if you haven’t watched the ep then you best not read this.
Here we go!
While the episode saw a range of storylines diverge, what has everyone talking was the absolutely huge battle that wrapped up the episode’s ending. The Lannister army took on the Dothraki, and yes this included: Daenerys and her dragons.
This is what I've been waiting for all season. #GameofThrones pic.twitter.com/xVEudBQpQJ

It was epic.
Almost the entire Lannister army was burnt to charcoal by Drogo the dragon. It was the best.
In the last scene we saw Jaime about to run at Daenerys (lol pls) before Drogo spits fire in his direction and he leaps into a pool of water.
Safe to say, Twitter is losing its mind rn over those final battle scenes:

You know the episode was good when the credits are silent and you’re left stunned at what you just witnessed. #GameOfThrones

Who cares about the battle tho. It’s about: THE DRAGONZZZZ.

What does that say about us watching 1000 men burning to death on #GameOfThrones yet all we are worried about is whether the dragon is okay?

*400 people literally burnt to ashes*
Me: "Yeah but, is the dragon ok? Hope he's not getting tired." #GameOfThrones— Will Gough (@Goughy_7) August 7, 2017
Jaime Lannister: We can hold them off.
Dragon: RECLAIMING MY TIME #GameOfThrones

It was an insanely great battle – one that rivals even last season’s ‘Battle of the Bastards’.
#GameOfThrones I just had 5 strokes 33 heart attacks, 1 aneurysm, 29 WTF moments & I'm STILL holding my breath! Well played GoT, well played

Can we talk about how the Dothraki were standing on horses shooting arrows while riding full speed into battle bc I was shook #GameOfThrones

#GameofThrones when this ends I never want to watch anything ever again because it will all seem like a shallow hole compared
— Nate Serene (@Weskerthedog) August 7, 2017
Viewers felt strangely defensive of Jaime and his safety – despite everything we know about the Lannister.
#GameOfThrones has me like:
"I hope the guy who tried to murder a 10yr old & raped his sis next to their dead son doesn't die, I like him."

#GameOfThrones Jamie is the most likable attempted child killer, incest loving character ever. Not a lot of competition though.

Can’t say he didn’t have it coming.
Tyrion: "Flee, you idiot."
Us: "Flee, you idiot!"
Jaime: "LEEEE ROY JENKINNNSSS!!!" #GameOfThrones
