A Major Celeb Is Apparently Going To Be On ‘The Masked Singer’
The Masked Singer Australia is returning to our screens for a fifth season, and apparently, filming is already underway. Channel 10 is obvi trying to keep the mystery contestants a secret, since you know, the entire format hinges on keeping the judges and viewers guessing throughout the show.
If you’re not wanting to see any spoilers, pls don’t read on, because we’ve got the tea on a major celeb that’s likely to be showing up under an extravagant mask later this year.
According to Yahoo! Lifestyle, popular Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby has been seen in Sydney. I know, I know, this doesn’t confirm anything, but let’s take a closer look at the facts, shall we?
Our fave British reality TV star has already been on another Aussie show, competing on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in 2020, which is a Network 10 show… just like The Masked Singer.
Also, her show Geordie Shore is available to watch on Paramount, the network that also owns Channel 10. MTV, which owns Geordie Shore, is also owned by Paramount. Hmm, I’m intrigued.
And we have to mention that the star usually loves to overshare on socials, including travel updates for her fans. But lately? She’s been a bit coy about her location, and shared one video on Wednesday from a room that looks like a hotel room. You know, with bland furniture and ugly patterned carpet. A dead giveaway.

Finally, our Geordie queen was rumoured to be on the show in 2021, but encountered a bit of a hiccup when COVID entered the chat. Of course, she told fans she was only in Australia to film her podcast Values And Vibrators, but let’s be honest – she wouldn’t have spoiled her possible Masked Singer appearance, as that’d ruin any future chance of joining the show.
Charlotte is supposedly down under with her partner Jake Ankers and her daughter Alba, so there’s a possibility they could just be on a lil holiday. But I’m still clinging to the hope that she’s here to spice up the singing show, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
