‘Selling Sunset’ Is Filming In Australia And I Need A Damn Bell To Ring ASAP

As we continue to lick our wounds over the departure of Christine Quinn from Netflix’s Selling Sunset, thankfully we now have something to look forward to. The real estate phenomenon is coming Down Under.

Selling Sunset’s stars Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim have spent Christmas holidays in Australia and it sounds like they’ve been busy. Chrishell has been touring Melbourne and Sydney while spending time with her partner of over eight months, Aussie musician G Flip.

Meanwhile, Jason has been vacaying with his brother Brett and new girlfriend Marie-Lou Nürk, along with plugging shortform video app, Ten Sixty, which he recently became an ambassador for.

With both reality stars currently in Sydney, they made cameos on each other’s Instagram Stories this week. And it looks like they’ve also filmed some of the hit series while over here.

Jason appeared on Today on Friday morning and dropped a bombshell. “We’re filming [Season] 6 and 7 and I don’t know if I’m allowed to tell you this but we just filmed here on the harbour,” Jason spilled. Oop!

This means that we can expect to watch some of Chrishell and Jason’s antics play out on the upcoming season, with potentially their new partners also appearing. The awkward part is that Chrishell and Jason famously dated and then broke up last season. I don’t know about you, but the idea of holidaying with my ex and their partner does not sound like a good time.

I’m manifesting big drama!

During the Today interview, Jason spoke about his time in Australia so far. “I started in Melbourne and now I’ve been in Sydney for a week, it’s my second time here,” Jason told the Today hosts.

When asked about the exorbitant property market in Australia compared to LA, Jason said something rather baffling. “It seems well priced compared to what I’m used to,” he replied. You sure about that, mate? My 20 percent rent increase would disagree!

He continued, “I’m staying right near the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, and I’m telling you, I don’t think there’s a better view in the world than the condos overlooking that harbour.” I mean, he ain’t wrong!
