Here’s Everything We Know About The Women Set To Star In ‘Teen Mom Australia’
Teen Mom (or is it now Mum?!) has introduced us to its new Aussie cast, with three new mums being selected to star in the ten-episode series that will air later this year.
Ammerson Chambers from Melbourne, Akosita Masima from Sydney, and Georgina Manios from the Sutherland Shire are set to star in the show after more than a thousand young mums applied. The show will explore the lives of the three mums as they try to navigate life, relationships and raising their children.
Here’s what we know so far about the women set to star in Teen Mom Australia:
Ammerson
At 18 Ammerson, or Ammi, is the youngest mum on the show. Described as fiery and brutally honest, Ammerson is mum to Jiyah and now has baby number two on the way with her childhood sweetheart Jordan.
Ammerson lives with her older sister Katya and while they’re close, they are known to argue about family dynamics, parenting and household issues.
Akosita
Akosita, or Sita, lives with her partner Thomson and lives in a full house with her siblings, parents, grandfather, her baby boy, and her siblings’ children.
Sita is a 19-year-old rugby player and talented singer but her future plans came to a halt when she found out she was pregnant.
Georgina
Georgina, 20, is a single mum who works as a qualified beautician when she’s not looking after her daughter Evie.
Georgina has spent the last five years in an on/off relationship with Evie’s dad, John, and they both battle to see eye-to-eye. Georgina is ready and willing to give them one last chance to become a family.
