While the reboot of The Hills might be without Lauren Conrad or Kristin Cavallari, it isn’t low on drama.

The first episode reintroduced us to the old cast members, along with newbies Mischa Barton and Brandon Lee, and it just felt right to have the gang back together and where they belong: on our TVs.

Tonight’s ep kicked off with everyone gathering for Stephanie’s welcome home party and it got all kinds of hectic from there.

Here are the most dramatic moments from episode two of The Hills: New Beginnings!

#1. Stephanie had a huge fight with Spencer & Heidi.

We kick up the drama with all the cast arriving at Stephanie’s party. Spencer and Heidi rock up late and it is tense. It gets even more awkward as Heidi just low-key spills a drink on Steph. Shady AF.

Later on, Steph grabs Spencer for a private chat and it turns into a screaming match. He tells his sister, “You talk nonstop shit about myself, my wife and even my newborn son.”

Stephanie says she was pissed she had to hear that Heidi was pregnant in the press. It all ended with Spencer storming off. Heidi came to smooth things over but Stephanie walked off.

Later in ep, the couple agreed they regretted going to the party and Heidi says she has been left with a “yucky feeling.” Steph later on told Justin Bobby: “It’s been 12 years of me being nice to Heidi while she’s been manipulating my brother.” Savage.

#2. Perez Hilton beefed with Mischa Barton.

Spencer and Heidi decided to invite Perez to the party and he looks umm… different. As Mischa saw him arrive she said in her confessional that back in the days of The O.C. she “really felt like I was a target for him. I don’t know how to describe it, it’s just like when you see your bully in the school hallway.”

Perez told Spencer he wanted to ‘clear his karma’ before Mischa approached him and, well, let him have it. “The thing with that is, this bullying that you did for so long to so many young girls, I find it hard to let go. I really do,” she told him. Perez tried to apologise before he stormed off.

Audrina high-fived Mischa in celebration. What. A. Queen.

#3. Ummm, are Stephanie and Justin Bobby about to fuck?

This came out of nowhere. It seems Stephanie and Justin Bobby have developed some kind of friendship. They both left LA years ago to escape the drama – Steph moved to London and Justin Bobby lived in a treehouse – so they have a lot in common, I guess.

At the party Audrina is vibing that Steph is going to go for him and is suss over their newfound friendship. Further into the ep, Justin visits Stephanie at home and then he sings her a song. It is not good. She pretends to enjoy it so I reckon they’re defs going to bang.

#4. Jason does NOT look like Jason.

Jason exists and he looks DIFFERENT. He’s a father and husband now. His voice is much deeper and tbh I’m convinced he is a totally different person.

WHO IS THIS PERSON?!

#5. Brandon was there.

Remember Brandon? A person who very much exists. Well in an effort to give this random dude some kind of storylines, Brodie and Frankie visit him to get him to talk about err…his famous father Tommy Lee? That was about it.

He said in his confession “I’m Brandon Lee and I’m here to fuck shit up.” Are you tho? He does nothing the entire episode.

#6. Spencer got a crystal massage.

This was the highlight of the entire episode. No competition. A lady arrives to perform crystal healing on Spencer, rubbing actual crystals all over his body. He calls the ritual an “outlet to deal with stress.” This scene did not get enough airtime and it was criminal.

#7. Justin Bobby continued to be the worst kind of fuckboi.

We are only two eps into the season and already Justin Bobby is just the worst. Audrina admits to Heidi that “There’s always going to be that flirtiness with us,” before saying he invited her to go to a festival. But in a miscommunication Audrina called a “typical Justin move” he flaked and she had to make her own way there in an Uber.

Later on they argued over the fact that he didn’t contact her for a week, then Audrina announced she’s going on a blind date. He acted super jealous.

It’s honestly just like old times.
