It’s a jungle out there. Well, that’s what it appears to be as players on a ‘rainforest-themed’ golf course in Queensland, watched on as a four-metre python swallowed a whole wallaby before their eyes.

PYTHON VS WALLABY = FCKN STRAYA.

As the snake slithered on to a golf course, shocked players watched on in disbelief throughout the 30 minute reptile and marsupial brawl. It’s a super disturbing watch.

Robert Willemse told the Cairns Post what he saw, as the snake got hold of the wallaby’s head and rolled into the middle of the fairway. He added that the incident had not alarmed locals, err wtaf.

“The python swallowed it and rolled into the creek, then snuck back into the bush. It must have gone for a rest for the next few days,” Willemse said.

General manager of the Paradise Palms Declan McCollam told AAP that the python spotted was one of the biggest snakes to have been seen on the course in some time.

“The snake is not harmful to humans … when it was finished digesting the wallaby, it went back into the bush,” McCollam said.

“The wildlife on Paradise Palms has always been an attraction for golfers, and it is clear that is well and thriving.”

If this royally f’d up image is an example of the wildlife “well and thriving” then our country is officially cooked.
