Oh wait a second, it looks like “professional panda cuddler” is a thing. Maybe there is a God.
Why did this never come up in any of the career info we were given leaving school? I might have been walking down a completely different career path, had I known about this sooner. “Panda cuddling” sounds like a dream job and on closer inspection, it legitimately is that good.

The Wolong National Nature Reserve in southwest China’s Sichuan region requires zookeepers to dress up in panda suits and cuddle the pandas in the enclosure. Another day, another dollar.
It’s a key part of the ‘reintroduction program’ to reduce the amount of human interactions with the pandas, so that the cubs can cope when they’re released into protected wildlife.
It’s cuddling for a cause.
To land the gig as a “professional panda cuddler” you need to firstly, be in China, and secondly, be a trained zookeeper. So it may take some life changes and dedication to get there, but it looks so worth it.
The pandas are waiting.
