Cheryl From ‘Married At First Sight’ Caught Out Setting Up Candid Paparazzi Shots
A Sydney photographer has attempted to expose Married at First Sight’s Cheryl Maitland, posting an exchange the two had over Cheryl trying to co-ordinate a spontaneous photo with the paparazzi.
Jayden Seyfarth posted to his Instagram story a conversation he had with the reality star, as she seemingly attempted to organise being photographed at the airport and at dinner with her boyfriend.
Captioning the pic with a v salty “When they need to stay relevant,” here’s the messages below:
This little back-and-fourth might seem odd to the uninitiated, but tbh this is just a part of the industry. Plenty of Aussie celebs do the same thing every day, working with the paps to maintain their relevancy. That’s show business, folks.
Cheryl shrugged off the controversy, telling News.com.au that it was Seyfarth that was contacting the hairdresser in the first place.
“He messages me all the time to see where I am,” she said.
“I mentioned to him [Seyfarth] I would be in Melbourne and if he wanted to meet me there that was fine… The paps are going to take photos of me no matter what, so if I already know I won’t be so stressed out and they won’t be following me as much.”
