CONFIRMED: ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Australia Is Happening & We’re Losing Our Damn Minds
Take a deep breathe, and clutch on to the nearest immoveable object, the news we were all hoping (dreaming/yearning for) to be true, has just been confirmed. Bachelor In Paradise Australia is happening.
While rumours of a local version of the American spin-off series have been swirling around for weeks, we can finally confirm that the series is on its way. Just mere hours ago, a BAP Facebook page appeared, posting the following message:
Announcing: Bachelor In Paradise is coming! Which of your favourites will return for another chance at love?

It. Is. On. Like. Donkey Kong.
The network has answered our prayers, and hopefully a super trashy and raunchy bachy season will be coming. If you’ve seen the U.S version, you’ll know we’re in for a real treat.
The gist of the show is to grab a bunch of attractive ex-bachys that are still single, send them to a tropical island, liquor them up and then wait for carnage. We can’t contain our freakin’ excitement.
The news follows rumours of previous bachy cast members joining the show, including the likes of Keira Maguire, Nikki Gogan, Sasha Mielczarek, Elora Murger, Michael Turnbull and Blake Garvey. While Now To Love have reported that the almighty Osher Gunsberg will return to host.
Channel Ten released a statement saying:
“Bachelor In Paradise is the perfect complement to, and extension of, those shows. It will give viewers everything they love about The Bachelor Australia and The Bachelorette Australia, including familiar faces, spectacular dates, explosive rose ceremonies, drama, romance, adventure, laughter and – of course – love,” said a network spokesperson.
The network said the 2018 series will be set in “a romantic tropical destination overseas,” but with the budget the producers have splashed on the latest two series’, they’ll be lucky to bag a B&B at the Gold Coast.
