On the back of a lightning-fast Aussie tour that somehow found Katy Perry doing two live performances while simultaneously leaving the country, the pop star has committed a crime against a true blue Aussie icon.
It all started when Katy asked her followers to bring her a meat pie, so she could taste the Australian delicacy.
Also don't be shy, bring me a meat pie (it's my personal AUS goal to try as many as I can during my short visit) ????????????

She finally got her hand on a meat pie and not any pie, an Australian institution – a Four ‘N Twenty pie.
But to put it in short: it was a disaster. A pie-saster. Not only did she bizarrely eat the pie with a spoon, yes A SPOON, therefore not even eating the crust (the best bit, duh) but she didn’t even slop on a bit of tomato sauce.
Here’s the pie-eating atrocity via Katy’s SnapChat video:
On the video Katy announces,
“This is why I flew 22 hours,”
before plunging her spoon, yes SPOON, into the center of the pie. Discarding the crust, as if it’s the side of a bowl.
WHAT YOU DOIN?!?
Katy: you’re actually eating the worst part of the pie. It’s the crunchy sides that should be savored. Also without sauce, you don’t have that contrast between the tomato and the gravy. It’s a rookie move.
