‘I’m A Celeb’ Winner Casey Donovan Is Now The Face Of Coles Cos Dreamz Can Come True
After winning ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here’, you’d think Casey Donovan would have a ton of career opportunities at her feet. But instead her job prospects appear to be going down, down (prices are down, heheh… I’m sorry).
Donovan is the new face of Coles supermarkets, coming on board to front their ‘Down Down’ advertising campaign. The ‘Australian Idol’ winner was reportedly snapped up straight after becoming queen of the jungle, and flown to London to shoot the upcoming advertisements.
It may seem like a random move, but it will surely bring in some much-needed ca$h, and allow Casey to hang up her Uber driver cap. Get it, gurl.
Donovan told Confidential she’s keen AF for the Coles gig.
“So many amazing opportunities have been coming up and I’m very grateful for that. Who knows where the next few months will take me?” she said.
“I’ve worked really hard to be where I am today and to not give up. Like most Australians, I’ve been out there working. I drove for Uber and here I am now helping people save money with Coles.”
The uber talented singer grew a strong following during her time in the South African jungle. With her infectious sense of humour and random musical offerings (that lost boot diddy was a banger, amiright?!) which made for one of the most entertaining seasons so far.
Jumping on the good PR trail, a song she performed for her campmates ‘Lonely’ will be officially released May 19.
Hopefully the Coles’ adverts are just the first step on Casey’s road to a killer comeback. She sent fans into a tizz last week, after she performed a majestic cover of David Bowie’s ‘Heroes’ during the Logie Awards memoriam segment.
