Melbourne’s Hate For oBike Has Reached All New Comedic Levels
The people of Melbourne are delivering a full throttle nope to the oBike and documenting the best and boldest oBike fails. And it’s entertaining stuff to spectate.
oBike is the dock-less bike sharing service that launched earlier this year across Melbourne and Sydney. In many ways it makes sense, but opinions across the eastern seaboard have been mixed. Melbourne has especially responded with a pretty unanimous nope to the whole thing.
They’ve made that clear by leaving the bikes in compromising positions all over the city.
Melburnians are legit trolling the oBike scheme and they ain’t sorry.
Melbourne’s not unknown for having attitude and they’re really taking the piss out of the fail that is the oBike scheme. It’s already been canned by fellow bike-friendly city, Amsterdam, and by the looks of things Melbourne might be axing the oBike sooner rather than later. RIP.
In the meantime, please enjoy these hilarious gems of the Melbourne oBike fail.

Almost, but not quite.
Melbourne: We don’t want the bikes we don’t need the bikes we don’t trust the bikes.
