Michael Bay’s Producing A ‘Dora The Explorer’ Movie & The Internet’s Reaction Is Hilarious

Director Micheal Bay is known for many things: action movies, needless explosions, laughable dialogue, sexism and his obligatory ‘helicopter over sunrise’ scene he inserts into every damn film.

One thing he is not known for is his fondness for a puzzle-solving cartoon characters called Dora and her pet monkey.

But this is about to change because Bay has been locked in to produce a live-action version of Dora the Explorer. What the hell.

The live-action film will reportedly follow Dora as a teenager, who moves to the city to live with her cousin Diego.

This frankly bizarre news has not gone unnoticed across the interwebs. For Dora to be in the hands of a man known for his wonderfully terrible action movies, including the likes of the five Transformers films (yeah… five!) is just a confusing collaboration.

Thankfully the folks on Twitter have seized on the opportunity to roast the action director mercilessly.
