Osher Reckons There’s A “Mean Girls” Dynamic At Play In This Season’s ‘The Bachelor’

This season of The Bachelor hasn’t even started yet, but we’re already hearing about drama aplenty.

Bachy host and our personal love messiah Osher Gunsberg has spilled some deets about what viewers can expect, and there’s apparently more bitchy behaviour between the ladies this season… than ever before.

“There is a Mean Girls theme that does happen in this show,” Gunsberg told Stav, Abby & Matt on Hit105 this morning.

What this means exactly is unknown. But Osher is painting a picture that there might be a group of girls – Bachy’s answer to ‘The Plastics’ – that bully and alienate the other women. Hate to say it, but it sounds like some cracking viewing.

Matty J summarised a similiar wrap-up on the first ep, telling Kyle and Jackie O on KIIS FM this morning that, “At the cocktail parties there was so much that happened that I didn’t know about,” he said.

“I’d have a conversation, come back into the rest of the girls and someone would be in tears.

“I’d say, ‘Hey, what happened?’ And nobody wanted to dob anyone in, because no girl wanted to be the dobber and no one wanted to spend a conversation talking about other girls because time is so precious.”

Matty went on to say that he, “underestimated just how much tension there would be between the girls”.

Ummm. Have you watched the show, MJ?

The series first ep kicks off tonight at 7:30pm on Channel 10.

HELL YEAHHHHHHHH!!
