SHADY LADIES: Ruby Rose Throws Shade At Katy Perry In Twitter Rant
Today is a big day for Katy Perry. She dropped the audio for her upcoming single (and low-key Taylor Swift diss track) ‘Swish Swish’, in collab with Nicki Minaj and is priming for the release of her new album ‘Witness’.
But it’s not all good news for the ‘I Kissed a Girl’ singer. Joining the ranks of Swift, Katy has a new enemy. And she’s a bloody Aussie.
Our own Ruby Rose has gone off chops, in a Twitter rant not-so-subtlety directed at Perry, and her new single. In a series of tweets, Rose makes fun of Perry’s evolving brand, even calling her lyrics, “a sloppy mess of writing”. Ouch.

It’s some fighting words that Rose may soon regret, if Katy’s ‘katty kat’ brigade come looking for blood. But the OITNB star probs isn’t too bothered, with Swift’s squad firmly behind her.
Add to that, there is some truth to her words. On the DL Perry’s new music kind of sucks, it screams about how “woke” she now is, but with very little follow through. Her latest releases have also failed to light up the music charts, instead they’ve bombed hard.
With Ruby randomly starting the Twitter beef, all that’s left to do is await Perry’s response. Bon appétit!
