SHUT UP! ‘The Hills’ Revival Looks Set To Actually Happen But Without Lauren
This is not a drill. The most iconic scripted reality show to ever grace our TVs, The Hills, is probably coming back.
Like definitely, probably. The news first came from everyone’s fave combat boot wearing beach -goer, Justin Bobby, who accidentally confirmed that The Hills will be returning in an interview with Pedestrian TV.
It’s now been revealed that the cast of The Hills will reunite at the 2018 MTV VMAs for a special announcement.
While we don’t know which of the show’s OG stars will be making the announcement, we do know Lauren Conrad, the person who the show was originally based on won’t be there.
The post reads:
“The stars of #TheHills will reunite at the MTV VMAs and are rumoured to be making a “reunion announcement.” The rest is still unwritten, but everything we know is written at the link in our bio—including one major cast-member who won’t be in attendance.”
They are obvi referring to LC. It’s not a huge surprise that Lauren won’t be returning considering she ditched the series after its fifth season, with Kristen coming on board as her replacement.
Lo will also not be coming back to the show. She spoke about the cast in a recent interview, saying “I don’t want any association with any of those people. The dissociation from all those people is what I’m hungry for,” she told podcast Lady Lovin’.
We will keep our eyes out for tomorrow’s MTV VMAs for the big news.
