The ‘MAFS’ Reunion Dinner Party Recapped Via The Best Tweets

Pour your wine into plastic cups and hide the knives, because the Married at First Sight reunion dinner party just aired and as per usual, it was deliciously dramatic.

In good news, there were no wine pours or glass breakages during this reunion so really, it may have been one of the more tame ones we’ve seen in recent years. However, that didn’t stop the tears, tantrums, and attempted blindsides as Harrison came to clear his name and Alyssa finally reunited with Duncan post-dumping.

In a positive development, two of our couples have remained together outside of the experiment: Tahnee and Ollie were as loved-up as ever, while Melinda and Layton have survived and thrived outside of the toxic group environment.

The most joyful moment of the night, however, was when Harrison came in with an A4 piece of paper, one giant receipt as you may call it, ready to call Bronte out in front of everyone for reaching out to an ex of his… only to be laughed at by everyone in the group.

Might be time to go back and watch some Real Housewives episodes Harry, and watch how the masters really unleash receipts for maximum impact.

Here’s last night’s Married at First Sight reunion dinner party recapped via the best tweets.

Mel and Layton are still together and arguing only 2-3 days a week now, while Tahnee and Ollie are all loved-up revealing Ollie is moving to Sydney.

Lyndall has uncovered Cam’s “sexting” affair with Tayla and says Cam’s affections for her shut off when Tayla came into the experiment.

Alyssa comes into the reunion super salty, Claire and Jesse have a wholesome reunion, and Cam blanks Lyndall.

At dinner, Melinda addresses the elephant in the room: she brings up the Cam and Tayla rumours and asks what’s going on. Cam said he and Tayla were texting back and forth and it’s all just friendly.

Lyndall calls out Cam and Tayla for their behaviour within the experiment and says she knows he and Tayla were talking before final vows.

Lyndall brings up some comment that Cam said making a joke about a threesome, and Tayla and Ollie verify it. Tayla meanwhile seems to find the whole thing highly amusing. Tayla speaks up and says she and Cam are friends and that she saw his dick but it was funny. Classic banter between mates!

Cam explains he was in a nightclub with his clothes off and that’s when he FaceTimed Tayla. He then tells Lyndall he lost respect for her at the start and is in full defensive mode. Lyndall takes her final chance to call Cam out in front of the whole table and says she’s worth more than how he made her feel.

Harrison lets us know he has receipts of Bronte messaging the girl he used to see prior to entering the experiment. Bronte knows what Harrison is up to so she gets on the front foot and admits to messaging her. Harrison retaliates by telling Bronte she should work on herself.

Caitlin tells Harrison he needs to hire a builder for all the work he needs to do on himself. Harrison pulls out the screenshots to show everyone but they just find it highly amusing.

Alyssa comes in to ruin the good vibes of the night saying Duncan is lying through his teeth and “Googled a response of what to say when you break up with a girlfriend”. Duncan finds the message and reads it out, where he apologises and says he would make himself available to talk to Alyssa.

Alyssa asks Duncan what he expected her to reply and she calls him out for saying he was committed to her only to dump her at final vows. Alyssa then yells at Duncan breaking her heart and storms out. “I sacrificed everything for you,” Alyssa shouts.

Alyssa storms back in saying she doesn’t want Duncan to run the narrative and asks him when he decided the relationship was over. She tells him to take off the mask and be genuine.

We end on Ollie doing his best John Aiken impression. Phew! What an episode.

The final episode of Married at First Sight airs tonight at 7:30pm on Channel Nine.
