I have five words for you Swifties: Are You Ready For It?

Because Taylor Swift is very clearly ramping up for the re-recorded re-release of her album Reputation and I am sure of this for one very black-and-white reason. You see all of Taylor’s besties, her boyfriend (and even an ex-boyfriend) have dialled down the saturation of their profile pictures on Instagram so they can all be in uniform.

Yep, Travis Kelce along with Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively, Jack Antonoff, Keleigh Teller, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Lily Aldridge, Channing Tatum, Taylor Lautner, Gracie Abrams and Kelsea Ballerini all now have black-and-white DPs.

IT’S BLACK-AND-WHITE PEOPLE. 

Now I know there will be a few skeptics thinking, perhaps it’s just a simple coincidence that these famous folk have opted for an arty DP? Well, you’re wrong. Because some of these celebs haven’t changed their profile pics in years and so for a mass of them to do the old switcheroo on the same day can only mean one thing. They are in on the Reputation (Taylor’s Version) marketing. For sure. 

Beyond the IG teasing, we know for sure that Reputation TV is the next in the lineup of re-releases, with Taylor actually talking about it in her interview with TIME magazine.

“I think a lot of people see it and they’re just like, sick snakes and strobe lights. [But] it’s a goth-punk moment of female rage at being gaslit by an entire social structure,” said Taylor before stating her re-record of Reputation was on the way and it would be “fire”. 

Because this is far from my first rodeo of getting obsessed with a Taylor re-record, I reckon we’ve got a maximum of 13 days until this new album drops. ‘Don’t Blame Me’ if I’m a little off though. I’m too ‘Delicate’ to handle that that ‘I Did Something Bad’. Okay, I’ll stop now.
