If you’ve ever wondered what a mix of Desperate Housewives and 50 Shades Of Grey could look like, Netflix’s new series Sex/Life is the perfect amalgamation.

Featuring a wildly attractive cast and a soapy storyline, it’s the perfect viewing for when you want to switch your brain off, stop caring about the world, and get lost in some perfect trash. (So basically, if you’re also in lockdown this is pretty much essential viewing).

Featuring Aussie actor Adam Demos (you may recognise him from UnREAL) and with some scenes that make Sex and the City look PG, be warned: Sex/Life isn’t exactly family-friendly viewing. The show follows Billie (Sarah Shahi), a seemingly happily married woman with two young children, but there’s one problem: Billie can’t stop thinking about her ex Brad (Adam Demos).

After Billie’s husband Cooper (Mike Vogel) discovers her journal detailing her passionate relationship with Brad, things escalate in the marriage and, of course, Brad pops back up in real life too to make things even more confusing for Billie.

From the overly dramatic storyline to the incredibly handsome cast, and well, THAT scene in Episode 3, here are some of the funniest tweets about Sex/Life so far:

If anything, the show has been an educational experience for us all.

But we also need to talk about why Billie is so bad at hiding things.

If you know, you know.

The show really didn’t shy away from delivering pure horniness.

Look without Billie being completely dickmatised, we wouldn’t have this show, so we can’t complain.

However, it can be rough watching it as a single person in lockdown. Thots and prayers.
