BIG NEWS! Mr. Big Is Coming Back For the ‘Sex And The City’ Reboot
Big fans unite! HBO Max has confirmed Chris Noth will be returning to the Sex and the City reboot, reprising his role as Mr. Big.
A few months ago reports circulated that Noth wouldn’t be returning to the SATC reboot, leaving many fans of the show devastated. However Noth took to his Instagram page to dispute the rumours, saying “everything changes – including announcements in the rags.”
Executive Producer, Michael Patrick King commented on the news about Noth returning to the series, saying, “I’m thrilled to be working with Chris again on And Just Like That. How could we ever do a new chapter of the Sex and the City story without our Mr. Big?”
The SATC reboot titled And Just Like That will consist of 10 episodes, and is set to follow the much-loved characters navigating life, friendships, and relationships in their 50s.
In sadder news, Kim Cattrall will not be reprising her role as Samantha, which will be a devastating blow to the show. However, the show did announce Sara Ramirez (you may know her as Callie Torres on Grey’s Anatomy) will be joining the cast of And Just Like That. Ramirez will star as Che Diaz, a non-binary, queer, stand-up comedian that hosts a podcast that regularly features Carrie Bradshaw as a guest.
We can’t help but wonder the types of conversations these two could have about Mr. Big…
