2. We Need to Talk About Kevin

This is a chilling and disturbing film, ‘We Need to Talk About Kevin’ was adapted from the 2003 novel by Lionel Shriver, where the narrative is told through a series of letters from Eva (played by Tilda Swinton on screen) to her estranged husband. Swinton is absolutely BRILLIANT, and is the heart behind the whole film, while Ezra Miller as Kevin is creepy AF perfection. The story of a grieving mother’s attempt to understand and forgive her inherently evil son is reinterpreted perfectly for the silver screen.
