Reality on demand.

Fun fact: There has been over 230 episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians alone, and over 100 episodes from KUWTK spin-offs.

But while, like the members of extended Kardashian clan themselves, they’re all special and unique in their own way, there are some that deserve a little extra praise. Here are 10 of the 16-season series’ most iconic episodes, ranked.

#1 Season 6, Episodes 10 and 11

Even people who have never seen an episode of this show in their lives will recognise this one. On a family trip to Bora Bora, Kim is thrown into the ocean by her then-boyfriend (soon to be fiancé, then husband, then ex), Kris Humphries. Her $75k diamond earring falls out and she immediately flips out, prompting Kourtney to deadpan: “There’s people that are dying, Kim”. Iconic.

#2 Season 4, Episode 3

There’s really no other way to sum up this episode: Kris accidentally spikes Rob’s drink with Viagra, resulting in a boner that requires a trip to the hospital. Every single thing about this episode is funny and it’s a wild ride from start to finish. Some people have speculated that this storyline was fabricated for views, which honestly makes it an even better watch. Who came up with this idea? Why did they all decide to go along with it? Watching Rob try to hide a whopping boner from his mum, without knowing she caused it, is truly reality television at its finest.

#3 Season 6, Episode 13 and 14

While the marriage didn’t last long, Kim’s “fairytale” wedding to Kris Humphries was a real doozy of an episode. Well, it was actually two episodes. There are celebrity guests, amazing decorations, and of course, buckets fulls of drama. Kim literally disinvites Khloe at the last minute.

#4 Season 12, Episode 6

If you’re a Kris Jenner fan (who isn’t?), put this episode at the top of your list. After going wine-tasting in Napa with Khloe and Kourt, everyone’s favourite momager gets absolutely sloshed and it’s truly a sight to behold. She’s falling all over the place, yelling into FaceTime, and losing her sunglasses.

She seems really, really fun, and will probably make you want to go out drinking with her some time.

#5 Kourtney and Kim Take Miami Season 3, Episode 8

This isn’t a particularly notable episode, but it’s one of the best in terms of entertainment value. Kim decides that she wants to be a private investigator, something that she’s apparently always dreamed of doing.

#6 Season 12, Episode 5

If you didn’t catch this episode when it first aired, you might have seen it on social media. Khloe, Kendall, and Kylie all got full-on make-unders with prothetics and wigs, in the hopes of having a “normal” day where they weren’t recognised as Kardashian sisters.

They ordered Subway and got on a Los Angeles sightseeing bus. At one point, when the driver mentions Kim Kardashian, Khloe yells, “I don’t want to talk about those Kartrashians!”. They captured the whole thing on their Snapchats but it’s still so good to see it play out in the episode.

#7 Season 3, Episode 9

Kris gets a little sad and lonely in her huge house now that all her kids have grown up and are moving out. Instead of getting a hobby to fill her days, she decides to adopt and raise a monkey. Of course, hilarity ensues.

#8 Kourtney And Kim Take New York, Season 2, Episode 9

Even if you haven’t watched the clip from this episode of Kim telling Kourtney, “I don’t want to be married anymore”, you’d recognise screenshots of the scene based on its sheer meme-ability. The latter half of season two leads up to Kim’s divorce from Kris and it’s very interesting to watch.

If you don’t feel invested enough in their 72-day marriage, just skip to the finale where she decides her marriage is over.

#9 Season 11, Episode 12

Back when Kris Jenner turned 30, she made a music video for a song called ‘I Love My Friends’, which basically just featured her driving around LA and doing dumb stuff – and it’s amazing.

In this episode, for Kris’ 60th, her daughters re-record the song and remake the music video. It features the family members, as well as Justin Bieber and Katy Perry, for some reason. It’s worth watching just to see the original video in all its glory.

#10 Season 7, Episode 10

Even if you dislike Scott Disick and are glad he no longer regularly features in new Kardashians episodes, you can surely admit that he’s damn entertaining. In this episode, he accompanies Kim and Rob on a trip to London, where he’s quickly taken by the royalty vibes. He finds a way to buy the title of “Lord” and really leans into becoming “Lord Disick”. The shots of him walking around London with a cane, draped in furs, are insane and incredible. He starts demanding everyone treat him with the royal respect he deserves…which Kourtney isn’t all too happy about.
