Gird your loins and stock up on tissues, as there is every indication that Netflix will renew ’13 Reasons Why’ for a second season.

The news doesn’t come as too much of a surprise for anyone that has seen the show – which follows the suicide tapes of main character Hannah Baker. The season one finale ended on a bunch of unresolved cliffhangers. Leaving room for much more of the story to be told.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, there is already a dedicated writers’ room, which has been up and running for the past few weeks building the next season. While Netflix has not yet confirmed the continuation of ’13 Reasons Why’, it sounds like a sure thing.
