Halloween is arguably one of the biggest fashion moments of the year, and these celebrity costumes have me gagging, with some being absolutely gorgeous and others being absolutely hilarious!

Every year, celebrities post their costumes online for the spooky season, and honestly, it feels like MET gala season all over again as social media commenters prepare to judge their ‘fits.

OFC, with celebrities and their endless amount of riches, it is without a doubt that most of the costumes from the upper class will be flawless, but nonetheless, it’s still fun to look at.

Here is a roundup of all the hottest celebrity costumes of 2022:

 1. Halle Bailey as Neytiri from Avatar 

Our future Little Mermaid looked absolutely ethereal with this full body costume. Her makeup, prosthetics, and outfit were flawless and her blue locks were just *chefs kiss*.

2. Addison Rae as Lady Gaga in her iconic ‘Paparazzi’ performance

Some people may know Addison Rae, some may not. Addison was discovered on TikTok and was known for her lip-syncs and dancing videos. She was then casted for the main role in Netfllix’s He’s All That — the reboot of the iconic 90’s film She’s All That. 

For this year’s Halloween, Addison dressed up as Lady Gaga from her 2009 VMA’s performance.

3. Kim Kardashian as Mystique

Kim BODIED this look. From to the contacts to the wig, her look was phenomenal.

4. Alicia Keys as Beerus from Dragon Ball Z

A win for weebs and girlies who love to yell out “NEW YOOOORK” on a drunk night out. Alicia’s looks amazing in this Dragon Ball Z costume.

5.Lili Reinhart, Madeline Petsch, and Camila Mendes as the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus

An iconic choice for the head girls of Riverdale. The costumes are also fitting because of Riverdale’s latest season, which took a weird turn as half the cast got superpowers and Cherly (played my Madeline Petsch) became the supreme witch after a comet threatens to hit Riverdale.

6. Frankie Jonas and Anna Olson as Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift

This costume is shady AF but we love it at the same time. Frankie Jonas, who is the youngest of the Jonas Brothers, dressed up as his brother Joe and his girlfriend dressed up as Taylor Swift. ICYMI: Joe and Taylor used to date and their break up was quite messy.

Frankie and Anna also sported matching purity rings to top the costume off.

7. Chloe Bailey as Storm

ISTG, anyone who dresses up as Storm is automatically the baddest B of Halloween. Chloe looked absolutely amazing and the photo effects? Slay.

8. Janelle Monae as Diva Plavalaguna from Fifth Element. 

Janelle wore her Diva Plavalaguna costume for Meg Thee Stallion’s Halloween Party, and she absolutely gave it her all. She even matched the vocals of the alien superstar. Amazing.

9. Kylie Jenner as the bride of Frankenstein and Elvira: Mistress of the Dark

Kylie gave us two looks for this Halloween, serving us old school spooky vibes. Both costumes are worth gawking at! It’s a double serve.

10. Lizzo as Marge Simpson

Oh homie, this look is so adorable! Marge is honestly the perf look for Lizzo, and we love that she recreated some of Marge’s most memeable moments on the show.

11. Paris Hilton and Carter Reum as Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask

The Queen of the 2000s turned up the heat with her sultry version of Sailor Moon. Love that she’s serving body with the corset twist! She also had a costume change, into a sexy FBI agent, but Sailor Moon takes the cake.

12. Jason Blum as M3gan

Earlier this month, Blumhouse Productions dropped the first look to M3GAN and it became an internet sensation because of its awkward dance break in its horror-fuelled trailer.

Capitalising of its creepy success, founder of Blumhouse Productions, Jason Blum, dressed up the killer dancing doll! Jinkies!

13. Jojo Siwa as Draco Malfoy

Jojo ditched the bright colours, bows, sparkles, and glitter for a luxurious Slytherin robe and a slicked back hairstyle. She topped off her Draco look with a thirst trap, and that is all I have to say.

14. Olivia Rodrigo as Betty Boop

Olivia rocked Betty’s iconic red dress and short hair for the spooky season. Her makeup resembled Betty as well with the long, cartoon-like lashes and the iconic red lip.

15. Kerry Washington as Lionel Richie

UGH! One of the best looks to come out of Halloween of this year. We love a little humour when it comes to Halloween costumes and Kerry brought the laughs as with her Lionel Richie costume. It’s her dead stare into the camera lens for me.

16. KeKe Palmer as Rogue and Rapunzel

She’s an icon. A Legend. A superhero and princess! KeKe dressed up as both Rogue and Rapunzel, and had a full on photoshoot and video with both looks. Hopefully these pics manifest into a full-blown Marvel gig for miss KeKe.
