6 TV Shows That Are Sacred & Should NEVER Be Rebooted Or Revived

A shiver ran down my spine when it was confirmed last year that my favourite TV series of all time, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, is being rebooted.

This is a very bad idea. But it’s not surprising.

In the past few years TV faves like Roseanne, Will and Grace and Gilmore Girls have all been brought back for revival seasons. While teen staples like Charmed and Sabrina the Teenage Witch have since received the reboot treatment.

But not every series can or should be brought back. Some are sacred and perfect as they are. Such as Buffy. The perfect show. With the perfect ending.

No matter how hard we try, a Buffy reboot will never be the same. Buffy should be left dead and so should these six other shows.

Here are 6 TV shows that are sacred and should never be touched again:

#1. Seinfield

Don’t mess with perfection. Let’s pray Seinfeld is never, ever revived.

#2. Friends

Speaking of perfection, Friends is the greatest comedy of all time and there will be no arguments. As if anyone could be as hateable as Ross?!? Never.

#3. The OC

We were welcomed to the OC (bitch!) once, and I don’t want to go back. Plus no boy could ever replace Seth Cohen. The greatest imaginary boyfriend of all time.

#4. Parks and Recreation

We could never recapture the magic. I said goodbye once, and I simply can’t/won’t do it again.

#5. Sex & the City

While the show was great in its time, it needs to be left in the past. The two movies that followed the finale proved that Sex and the City should have died in 2004.

#6. 30 Rock

There will never be another Liz Lemon. Period.
