A giant inflatable Minion has caused a ‘Despicable’ traffic jam

Everyone love Minions. That is, when you’re not on the wrong side of their evil plans.

A ‘wacky-waving-inflatable-arm-flailing’ Minion balloon somehow broke free from its restraints and rolled onto a road in Dublin overnight. Photos have emerged of the ridiculous scenes that then followed as it tumbled uncontrollably through traffic causing chaos.

Commuters were apparently stuck for hours in a traffic jam as authorities tried to work out a way to restrain the impulsive, wide-eyed wonder. After knocking a side view mirror off one car, action was taken to deflate the balloon. RIP Minion.

Dad jokes were appropriately tweeted by Dublin City Council member Cllr Paul McAuliffe who said of the incident:
