With huge expansive sets, there’s not much show organisers can do to stop prying eyes creeping on the filming and sharing what they see. The latest news comes from filming in Belfast (The North and The Wall) and is the biggest confirmation of a very particular plot twist in season six. According to MoviePlot.com:

“Sources report that today Game of Thrones is filming portions of a massive battle in Saintfield, Northern Ireland, that will likely be a part of episode nine.

Preparations and the beginning of filming were seen in that area recently, but it was difficult to glean many details.

We’ve learned that the battle will involve many northern armies fighting including the Umbers, the Boltons, wildlings and more!”

As MoviePlot.com calls it – suggests we’re set to see the Umbers, the Stark-affiliated Northern family that Osha and Rickon were last seen heading in the direction of, take on the Boltons, with a pile of Wildlings involved somehow.

BUT, here’s the twist…

“Kit Harington a.k.a Jon Snow was also seen at the location, participating in shooting this week.”

Not only that… there’s proof:

DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN!…

In a recent interview with Dutch magazine, Humo, Kit revealed:

“The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract, and in the meantime…Let’s just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while”

The big question – how will he return and what will his role be?
