Abbie Chatfield is returning to our screens tonight on Bachelor In Paradise and we are bloody excited!

The breakout star of The Bachelor 2019, Abbie is back after being brutally dumped on a rock in South Africa, ready for a paradise romance.

But we’re here to rehash her time on last year’s Bachy and one iconic moment in particular.

On a group date in Matt Agnew’s season, the final six girls were taken to an art class and asked to paint a self-portrait. Abbie revealed a hilariously terrifying painting, and it soon became our favourite meme.

Sometime after Bachelor In Paradise was filmed and before Covid-19 really hit, Abbie visited us in the Punkee office to recreate her iconic artwork with former Bachy recapper James Anthony.

From discussing what it was like to be dumped on a rock in Africa, to her “demon” painting, our favourite Gemini spilt the tea on what life was like during and after The Bachelor. “I don’t think he remembers who I am to be honest,” Abbie said about Matt Agnew, saying he’d probably ignore her on the street if they randomly ran into each other.

“Not to get boring and serious, but I was super in love with him and I still get upset about him sometimes,” Abbie said about Agnew. “And I never got answers. Everyone was like she didn’t even care, but I did care.”
