According To Noel Gallagher, One Direction Are ‘Cocksuckers’ And Only Kanye West Deserves Fame

Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher has lashed out at the lack of spirit in today’s music industry. The notorious grumpy old man targeted bands like 1D in an interview for the latest issue of Esquire, highlighting that only Kanye is deserving of his rockstar status.

Gallagher asked the mag, “Does anybody give a fuck about what any of these current pop stars are up to? Who gives a shit what fucking One Direction do? Cocksuckers, all of them in rehab by the time they’re 30.”

He went further to highlight that he reckons they’re all pretty shit, also hitting out at the likes of Ellie Goulding and Adele.

I’ll tell you what’s wrong. Fame’s wasted on these c*nts today. Bar Kanye. You watch him on the MTV Awards and you think, “You can fucking stay, you’re alright.”

Who gives a shit what Ellie Goulding is up to? Really? Adele, what? Blows my fucking mind. It blows my fucking mind. Nobody cares!

He also labeled the decision of ex-One Direction singer Zayn Malik to leave the pop group as stupid, saying, “For the likes of me who persevered from an early age to play the fucking guitar and write songs and practice and practice and practice, I’ll be fine. God help Zayn Malik.” lol.

This isn’t the first time Gallagher has had a whinge about One Direction and the current state of pop. He once told them to to ‘Fuck off’ to their faces at the Brit Awards. Noel is basically panning out to be the music industry’s crazy uncle who rocks up to Christmas lunch, drinks to much, makes a bunch of racist comment and sits in the corner complaining about yesteryear. So none of these remarks really come as a huge surprise but it keeps us entertained nonetheless. If only there were more ‘rockstars’ out there like him.
