Adam Levine’s cringy leaked texts have been remixed into a catchy Maroon 5 song and honestly, it was bound to happen.

TikToker and musician Alex, who goes by @SongsByAlex online, has taken Levine’s cringeworthy texts and turned them into a song to the tune of ‘Girls Like You’ by Maroon 5, and the results are absolutely hilarious.

To give you a bit of context on everything: Adam Levine, who is the frontman of Maroon 5, was outed for allegedly cheating on his Victoria’s Secret model wife, Behati Prinsloo, with Instagram model Sumner Stroh via TikTok.

Sumner spoke about the alleged affair on TikTok, and she shared some cringe DMs sent by Levine and ever since then, Levine’s bizarre messages have become 2022’s latest meme.

However, one of the best uses of this absurd exchange was definitely Alex’s remix. Throughout the song, Alex sings the spine-shuddering phrases sent by Levine, including “That body of yours is absurd”, “I’d do anything for it,” and my personal fave, “I wanna tattoo my ass.”

And who knew that these texts would fit so perfectly with a Maroon 5 song, despite being one of the cringiest hit-ups ever. Alex also sounds exactly like Adam, which makes the song even more hilarious.

Alex’s rendition of Levine’s texts has gone viral on TikTok, as the video has been viewed over 6 million times. The video also boasts over 8k likes and 11k comments.

This spoof of ‘Girls Like You’ is so popular that even language site Duolingo and other businesses have interacted with it. One user wrote, “he wasn’t flirting with her, he was writing song lyrics. as clearly shown lol.” Another user simply wrote, “I’m done.”

Levine has responded to these allegations, claiming he did not have a full-blown affair, but whether there’s any truth to the cheating claims or not, Adam Levine will be forever known as that one lead singer with terrible text game.
